PROGRAM FOCUS

The Mississippi Economic Development Council is offering a program for Emerging Leaders in Economic Development that will focus on developing skills to strengthen you as a leader in the profession.   


PROGRAM APPLICANT INFORMATION

Who is qualified to apply?

  • Have been in the profession for less than 5 years and/or those that are 35 or younger
  • Must be an active member of MEDC for at least one year. 
  • Must be able to attend all four sessions in person. (Dates and locations listed below) 

How many applicants will be accepted to participate? Minimum of 5

PROGRAM COST

  • $500 for program tuition due with an acceptance letter.
  • Travel expenses associated with program attendance.

HOW TO APPLY?

1.)  Complete and return the APPLICATION FORM
2.)  Attach a Resume and a Cover Letter that includes previous leadership training courses that you have completed.
3.)  Include a Letter of Endorsement from your Executive Director or President of your organization's Board of Directors.
