The Mississippi Economic Development Council serves as the voice of the economic development profession in the state. The Legislative Committee helps advocate for legislation favoring economic development issues that affect existing and proposed legislation to grow the economy in Mississippi and improve the business environment. The committee provides legislative updates to members and helps define the organization’s policy agenda.
